Midnight sun

I shot this last night whilst out on another escapade with Jason.  We went up to the Black Mountain area, or maybe it was just east of East Rutland.  Either way, I quite liked the shot.  I chose to leave the colour of the sodium light in, rather than black and white it because I thought it gave it a dry, dusty feel; something like midday in the Sahara, just with vegetation.  Of course, we’d never see anything like that in real life, which is exactly why this was the shot I kept.  Making a shot interesting is creating differentiation.  Thus, except for some sharpening, it’s SOOC.
