Mission Creek Park

We had a wonderful afternoon at the park today. Here’s some of the better shots.

Thomas was running around the play structure and went around a corner to find a butt in his face. There was a little girl on the monkey bars. Thomas seems to think that the harder you hit something, the funnier it is. This was taken right at the moment of impact.

An ogre, a dragon, a princess, oh my!

This Halloween was unequivocally the best Halloween for the Phillips family. First and foremost, James wore his costume, which has not happened in previous years. Secondly, Thomas not only understood what was going on, but was leading the charge between houses. Third, all the kids were quite well behaved. Yay!

Thomas, as an only child

Today, my parents took Maddux and James for a sleepover leaving Heather and me with only Thomas. He’s eating it right up. No siblings to monopolize Mommy’s lap. No siblings pushing him out of the sandbox. No siblings hogging the slide. He’s in heaven! At least for now. I suspect sometime tomorrow he’ll really start to miss the hair pulling, punches to the throat, the taking of toys and other things that come with being the youngest and smallest.

Typically you don’t want to use too many shots from the same series, but these were all too cute not to use.
